The St. Croix authorities are doing their best to contain the possible oil spill from more than forty (40) boats that sank or washed ashore during and after Hurricane Omar.Kim Jones of the St. Croix Yacht Club said the the 400 local boaters was caught off guarded 'cause they didn't take the storm warning very seriously.
The category 3 storm cause more than $700,000 damages in St. Croix but luckily no one ir reported to have perished in the recent natural weather disaster.
