Varadero, Cuba, is one of those several Cuban resorts that only cater to Canadians, who comprise the largest group of tourists who visit Cuba. It may be argued that one of the major reasons why Canadians flock to this Caribbean island is the fact that it is one of the few enclaves in the world where they will not bump into their American neighbors.
This may well soon change when a US bill that lifts travel restrictions to Cuba gets approved. It may be a boon to the Cuban economy, but will the Canadians like it? Most probably not.
